TARGET SECTORS The market analyses
The project focuses on nine priority sectors: three for each EU border region - Friuli-Venezia Giulia (IT), Carinthia (AT) and Eastern Macedonia (GR). The sectors were selected according to the specific characteristics and needs of the regional economic systems and to the innovation potentialities of the single sectors. The market analyses - carried out by specialized research centres in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Carinthia and Eastern Macedonia in November 2003, examine the nine sectors and the prospective effects of the EU enlargement on the economies of the three regions.
